Make the weapon barrel go red if you shoot near waterlands and swaps and so like it is in real life and if you keep shooting with the hot red barrel then you can damage the gun. And the diffrent camos on the barrel can prevent this

Since looks like no one said it I really would love some kind of mastery skins for guns-bows-handguns either for killing and harvesting 1k-5k of a single animal or getting 1k-5k kills with a single weapon or both! they would be really unique skin showing off that animal and the weapon ones can be all the same or unique to every weapon up2u, animal mastery skin can be put on any weapon and the weapon mastery skin can only be put on that said weapon, they would have engravings different metals woods paints enamels etc...

I would love a mission with an award where we could decrease our noise reduction with clothing. And increase our pack size. I would even buy a dlc for this. Maybe have stipulations like a certain level requirement, etc in order to qualify. I am at level 60 have been for a long time, 1700 hours in the game it would be nice to have the noise reduced just through the “ experience “ in the game.

I like the clothing idea if I could see myself in 3 person but I can’t and I don’t play multiplayer to see anyone else. The only way I can see my character is on the character screen edit page, but in game I can’t see anyone but my dog. So while for those that play multiplayer it would be cool for me who plays alone the idea is mute, unless there is some sort of perk like noise reduction that goes with it.

@cobalt grove I did mention something similar to your idea. I was much more vague as to leave room for others input, but a camo mastery grind would be a great addition. Every weapon has several generic camos to unlock by simply harvesting animals with said weapon. Then after those are completed you can work on the mastery camos. Very fancy and shiny camos unlocked via harder challenges like harvesting X amount of diamonds, rares, and GOs. Tons of other ideas for hard challenges to unlock the best camos!

Soooo, I've been asking for cosmetics in this game since the first survey they put out. I feel like I've written a novels worth in their surveys and I'm sure they're tired of reading them. With that said, I still want creator skins that are earned through Twitch drops. They could do an OG weekend/week where Flinter, Zaggi, Beard, etc created skins for their favorite in-game weapons and we as players could earn the skins for free by watching their Twitch channels for 2-3 hours(just an example). I don't know a lot about how this is done, but I know the game Rust does it monthly(I think). EW could do this same thing with only a few creators per month and then move to other creators the following months/year. EW could literally help small streamers gain followers and get partnered on Twitch with this program. I don't know how it would work with Youtube, and maybe it can't be done, but this is something I've wanted in-game for years.

The dog was probably skinned over a deer for programming and behavioral practicalities.

Just speculating here. New breeds, behaviors, sounds, and K9 sizes require a level of coding that most likely dwarfs previous undertakings. Which probably translates to a metric sh#t-ton of overtime and weekend work. 🤔
