Tritium sights are a nice addition to every weapon that has them but it's hard to find a reason to carry them. they weigh as much as a call and replace the scope on any weapon that you want to use them on so they're largely useless

IF they they were made to be either a permanent mount or had their own slot it would make them more useful, the weight should also be entirely removed, i mean the gun has sights already and the tritium sights just replace those

So the Moradi has access to the Marksman exact sight along with tritium sights, the red dot, and all three scopes.

This needs to be a thing with all the rifles

I've suggested this several times. Few people will choose to use a tritium sight when they have access to a scope that weighs the same but can be used on more than one weapon (most of the time). Their weight need to be no more than ammunition (that is, mostly nothing), or at most about 0.03 units, esp. since you need one for each fire arm carried. I like the idea of them having their own slot, but again, no or little weight. I realize that game balance is an issue, but at the moment, they are essentially ignored as useless by most players, which is a pitty.

I don't think it has anything to do with game balance, to have tritium sights a weapon has to have iron sights, it amounts to a visual change and shouldn't punish a player who chooses to apply it. It doesn't do anything but make the existing sights more visible but the weight and the fact that it takes a scope slot, and only applies to a single weapon makes it useless

If paints and skins are in game with no punishment other than credits to pay for it, why does changing the look of the sights suddenly require an active downside for its use?

Because they give a (very minor) advantage over iron sights, but certainly nowhere near that of aa scope or even red-dot. There should be a "cost" to the player (i.e., weight), but not so high that no one uses them (as is now the case).

Now that the weight of tritium sights is fixed it would be nice if they could be permanently mounted to the gun so you can switch between scope and tritium instead of scope and iron, or tritium and iron.

yeah, still wish this was a thing, but hey, the weight is gone. . . . .but it still counts as a "scope" for some reason

half way there tho!!!

Well they dont do you much good if you have a scope on it so i dont see a problem with it. Maybe they can change it so you can toggle them on and off 😂

I agree. The ar’s should have buis and maybe the other rifles could have cowitness sights

Would also be pretty nice to set tritium sight colors, red or green, maybe front red rear green too
