Roosevelt’s Elk should not be on that list in any form, the Tian Shan Wapiti is fine as is though

Also seeing as how this how this is set in the Tian Shan Mountains specifically, you could have the Tian Shan Argali instead of the Severtzov Argali (the Severtzov are not found in the Tian Shan)

Ironically I excluded the Tian Shan Argali from https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1119449859297132564 for being too similar to the Marco Polo but these are their mountains so Tian Shan Argali are perfect

Also the Central Asian Red Deer (also included on Karakul Valley) could work as your “Maral”

The inclusion of Roosevelt Elk is to simplify it for the non zoologists, and Non Animal nerds. Since they carry very few differences between the two (Roosevelt Elk and Tian Shan Wapiti). They are nearly one and the same as subspecies meaning the great one for all elk species would carry over. I used Maral Stag instead of Red Deer because I just felt like the name stuck better! I will be changing the name of the Argali though!

Argali Could be Class 6 (It was like that originally) however I wanted diversity amongst the classes.

The weapons I was thinking of are one of two options,number 1

Mauser M18 chambered in 8mm which would have a range of 5-9 or 6-9 (If EW chooses to improve the .300 and make it a 6-9 it would share the class range or be 5-9)

They are twice the size of North American Bighorn Sheep and Argali’s horns can grow up to 6ft long so there’s plenty of differences lol!

Personally, I refer to Maral Stag as the subspecies (Cervus elaphus maral) in Caucasus, Iran, and Turkey.

I think it was ayoliam who said that maral is the local word for deer in many central Asian languages so It can refer to c. Hanglu, c. Elaphus and c. Canadensis

According to etimology, the word “maral” means "deer" in Armenian, and Turkmen languages, referring to the Caspian Red Deer (C. e. maral).
