I mentioned this briefly in #1114718804392542218 message
but I've noticed recently that animals that end up in the water will just float around in random directions forever and never settle on the shoreline.
At best this is annoying, in the case of a river or small lake where you have to run around trying to claim it.
At worst this makes the animal impossible to claim, in the case of bigger lakes or the ocean, as shown in this video from Emerald Coast.
This croc has been dead for at least 20-30mins. As you can see from the hunting pressure I killed it on my previous run down the beach, and he is still just floating around in the deep water.
