For some of the maps like Mississippi add frogs and add a new weapon pack with throwing spears for big game and small game

The ambient animals are one of the most frustrating things on Hirsch/Layton. And considering that COTW's all about ethical hunting, I'm not sure spears would make it in. Not to mention the fact that it would likely require a whole new ballistics mechanic.

Would probably be fairly similar similar to bows but just different enough to be a big problem

If used effectively there's nothing unethical about spears. You can hunt unethically in COTW and load a bison with a .22
