I keep hearing abt people saying this game is dead which I don't agree with there Is more than enough content to be put out also why would yall want a new game? There is sm money and time some of us put in that game why would anyone throw that away I don't think they need new game they just need some improvement to it like a better engine mechanics etc

the downside to implementing a new engine, is that they'd need to re-do from the ground up in order to update it.

Can't just, afaik, merge engines and run the game from one to the other seamlessly -

it certainly would be a huge undertaking. Its why porting it to a new engine as it is right now is so unlikely

Well dlcs and it could bring new users which means more downloads

this could be like a years worth of effort and work to upgrade all current DLCs

not to mention, even if they started now, they still have the winter map DLC that is normally released

and then the incoming summer

It's jus let's say they make a new game I don't want it be on the next generation systems that's so annoying to me that games now adays aren't on ps4 I rather not spend 300-500 for a new system

if you can run that game, you could run a next gen cotw if/when it comes out, if they're still using that engine if/when it does

It's definitely not dead. Canada hasn't even been touched with reserves. I would love to see another Alaska map as well. They still have Tons to do in Africa and Aisa. I beg that the next Aisa map has Elk or it will be a huge disappointment in my eyes.
