#New Black Bear Rare Fur Types

I might be alone on this but I feel the current standard rares for black bear could use some notable additions. As it sits black bears have 3 non great one rare fur types, blonde, cinnamon, and brown. While I like blonde and cinnamon I can’t lie, they’re all just kind of a variation of brown, which is pretty disappointing considering how many potential color phases black bears actually come in. Albino and piebald both exist which are stunning, and there’s also grey to white sun bleached variants as well that would make for incredible rares. Some could argue that the great ones are there to cover the more incredible color variations but honestly the standard rares could really use some more interesting variety too. I would argue that the unique patterns is what makes the great ones special while just standard color variations would suit normal rares. At bare minimum I’d like to a least see albinos added into the game since they do feel notably absent for some reason.

Albino and piebald would be cool. The sun bleached variants almost look like Fabled Spirit or the spirit fur type for brown bear but that just might be me.

Agreed. Tbh having more rare fur types would make me want to grind bears even more, right now the only reason I'd grind is for a g1 but for other species like red deer, moose, etc. the rare furs/maybe a super rare is the best part. If I see a 9 legendary black bear at night I wouldn't be able to tell if it was a normal fur type or brown unless I actually check disturbed vegetation or something; piebald/albino/melanistic furs are much cooler
