whenever I join a game with my friends I always leave within a couple minutes and the other way around (whenever they join mine they get disconnected) but if i go in single player every thing semes to work fine and i never disconect

The way I understand it; Cotw uses peer-to-peer connections for multiplayer, rather than dedicated servers. Meaning your friend literally hosts the map and you join directly to them.
Because of this, connection to the multiplayer map is heavily reliant on your internet connection, and your friend's internet connection.
This may not be the cause off your problems, but the first thing I would do is check for connectivity problems and weak connections on either end.
