Keep the current LVL system, but instead of having to LVL some perks or skills 3 times, make it training. Like when you pick the first skill, locate tracks. The first one you unlock. The second 2 have to be unlocked by lets say tracking at least 10 footprints of the same animal of 12 different species. Making it seem like you learned from that and got better. Same with track knowledge but for example the blood one you have to track an animal for a few second after you shot it, and then have to find all the blood splatters. Another example, lvling the bow's first perk full draw. Make 50 shots within the last second of fatigue setting in. (This can be done on a shooting range or in the field) This can be done for a lot of skills and perks. I think adding this system makes it more fun to unlock skills and gives EW the option to give us more skills and perks to unlock. They can keep the lv ling system almost the same except when you normally would spend 2,3 or 4 point you now spent one. Giving you more options to choose from in the long run.

Current system works fine. This may be a nice idea for the future, but at the moment kinda irrelevant and would cause a bunch of unnecessary bugs
I find the lvl system to work good, butt find it stupid that I can't unlock all skills/perks. This system make it so you can have more perks and skills with the same points. And make it feel like you earned the extra skills trough tasks.
I said this before... Lose the tier system or at least change it so that it's based on the LVL you are at and not how many points you've used.... This would give us the ability to choose the perks and skills we want instead of forcing us to use them on things we don't.
Maybe they should make the lvl limit like 100
I think that as a hunter, when you spend enough time doing certain things, you can “learn” all the perks and skills. Like recoil. The 50th time you shoot a gun, you are going to be much better with it. I think this counts for almost all the perks and skills. They don't want you to be too op and give you all perks and skills sort of for free. I think with how I mentioned above we certainly would be able to get almost all if not all, but they make you work for it by doing kind of skill specific missions.
