#Speedy wolf bug on Yukon

That's so unfortunate but also hilarious.
Small update: I think this only happens when they are in the Fleeing state and seems to be pretty consistent.
They kinda just run in circles, stop for a moment, then zoom.
I only started playing Yukon and cuatro recently, so I didn't realise this was a bug, my first encounter with wolves had them shoot past me like demons and I thought it was terrifying but cool lol
Wait.... could this also mean red deer don't really have the natural ability to dodge bullets by teleportation?
It's less teleportation, than phasing.
In other terms, lets use XMen.
Red Deer aren't the same as Nightcrawler
but actually are more like Kitty
😂
Yes thank you! I thought I was going mad! I've had the exact same problem
Yep, I've reported this exact thing. Both species of wolves.
As well as both species of foxes, and coyotes.
considering the one thing they all have in common is the rig/animations used, I'm thinking the issue might be with that.
Ive been putting up with this bug for a while on the PS4 and 5. Wolves, foxes, coyotes, and raccoon dogs have this issue and I've missed a number of good shots when the bug kicks in. Usually happens when they're fleeing.
Its not only an yukon issue, also happens on medved and with foxes, and wolves on mp just freeze
p sure its as Lyra said, a skeletal rig/animation glitch
Flinter caught a good example of this on his stream tonight on an Egg White wolf, figure I'll add the clip here as it is a lot clearer than my original one

Oh? Until I read this chat.. I thought it was intentional behaviour. I assumed wolves and foxes zooming around was part of the dog family trait. Now I just wait for the split second when they aren't gliding along the surface to get my shots in 😬 😶
Same lol, when you see it out the corner of your eye it's cool.

Another example from Pro XCK's video, this time on a red fox
I've see that with all the predators in cotw and not only in the fleeing state
