This is a fix/feedback kind of post.
*Personally, I think animals should float to the nearest shore as apposed to the shore from where you shot it. It's much quicker to run all the way around and collect it than wait for it to slowly reach you. *
⚠️ Floating mechanics bugged⚠️
I just shot a lion 200 metres on the other side of a lake. Couldn't be asked waiting and it was cutting into time to get to another lake. So I left it and jumped to the next location but when I returned the harvest has disappeared, despite the blood splatter still there. Dog is stuck at the edge of the lake staring at nothing.
It seems that the floating animal vanishes if you jump out of the location before it reaches the shore.
