Class 2:
Bobcat
Reason: In reality, the bobcat is much smaller then the lynx but in cotw they still have the max weight (45kg, 99lbs) for more information: #1137042750483726367

Class 3:
Collared Peccary
Reason: Their max weight 31kg (68lbs) and compare that to the roe deer (35kg, 77lbs) it is smaller.

Class 4:*
Axis Deer
Reason: The max weight for the axis deer is 75kg (165lbs) and compared to the blackbuck (51kg, 112lbs) is much bigger

Chamios
Reason: Chamios have the same weight range as the pronghorn which is class 4 (65kg, 143lbs)

Class 8:
Sambar, Javan Rusa & Red Deer
Reason: These deer can be legally hunted with big game calibers such as the 300. and 338. in reality, but in cotw you can’t harvest these ethically with any class 7 - 9 big game rifle which is dumb, because they’re the same class range (6) and share their class range with the mule deer witch doesn’t even come close to being the biggest deer species in reality.

Well what ew should really do is make the .300 6-9,Red Deer make perfect sense where they are currently.

I got an idea that the class system should be changed to 7 at the most. Rabbits, quail and such at one, then grizzly/brown bears, lions, cape and water buffalo, and all the bison at 7.

blackbear are much lighter built than grizzlies, they fit better in lower classes along side cougars and wolves

Hey, maybe we could consider class 10 to be the Cape Buffalo, Water Buffalo, Lions, Bison, and Grizzly/Brown bears?

Update the .470, .338, and arrows/bolts to class 10, the .45-70 could be 6-10 to make it more useful, the same for the 9.3.

Honestly Capes should have been 10 from the start.

Honestly rusa and Sambar are already too weak for class 6. Either they make them tougher or lower the class down to 5 imo

I mean, I've read that Sambar are commonly hunted with a 9.3x62mm in Australia. Cuz they're tough enough to take lighter calibers and get away. I think Rusa are fine at 6, maybe 4, but Sambars should definitely be 8's

They'd be force to introduce a better one tho, the bolt .338 isn't a good performer, the .300 isn't legal for lions or buffalo, so they have to give us a bolt action in the .375 -.416-.458 class, probably only 3 rounds but they'd be much better at bringing down cape buffalo and the like faster

class 0 should be for the smallest of the smallest animals like Ptarmigans, rabbits, quil (idk how its spelled). and have class 1 for Turkey, Capercaillie etc.

or make them class 1, the larger birds class 2, and all the small predators and musk deer class 3

Lion works fine as a Class 9 Species

Class 8 is better for lion imo

Lions being fine as a Class 9 Species is the hill I chose to stand on ages ago

But in general the whole class system with the animals needs to be restructured
