Would it be possible to condense the inventory/store tabs to display the base variant of each weapon? then you could have a secondary menu (like the compatible items prompt in the store menu) to choose the variant you want to buy/equip.

Would also be really nice to add the option to choose a specific weapon and change the caliber. Like the base game Huntsman .270 changing to .30-06 since they are both long action calibers. Or the same in reverse, the Olsson .308 changing to .243 since they are both short action calibers.

All stats would be locked to the specific caliber/ammo chosen. Base game calibers all need a buff too

It would also be really nice if instead of buying the tritium sights separately it was an option in the store, permanently attached to the weapon itself adding just the cost to the price of the weapon

True, the sights are weapon specific, there's no reason to separate them if the gun starts with irons in the first place
