Bobcats need to not just be a reskin of the lynx! Bobcat max weight being 99 lbs is insane, northeastern bobcats rarely grow over 40 pounds, with the largest official weight ever being 49 pounds, and mexican bobcats are smaller, rarely growing over 30 pounds.
Also bobcats in the northeast have longer hair and are darker than mexican bobcats, as shown in the photos.
I understand lynx being class 3 but bobcats should probably be class 2, because they are really the same size if not smaller than coyotes.

Yes
Also,Dear lord Bump them down to class two, maybe even class one for Bobcats (heavy emphasis on maybe)
two definitely works, irl they’re hunted exactly the same as coyotes
Bump
Yes, change their weight and make them class 2.
I'd also like to see them backfilled to Mississippi Acres
Coyote should get a rework then added on there as well.
Yeah bobcats and coyotes would be nice on mississippi
yeah coyotes too
Would pretty much cap off Mississippi for me if they aren’t adding more ducks.
I would love to see Nutria there myself
Oooh them too! Waters edge is kinda boring, other than alligators.
beavers nutria and ducks would make that map so much more fun

Bobcat for sure needs to be bumped down to 2, raccooon bumped to 1 and turkey bumped up to 2 imo. No way are you killing a turkey with a .22 other than a head shot at any sort of distance.
I only just found this out but I agree it's quite ridiculous. There should also be coyote subspecies specified in the game as there are many subspecies heavier than Bobcats.
It would make sense if the Coyotes on New England were bigger than the ones on other maps, because Eastern Coyotes are bigger than the ones in the western U.S.

Yeah but who shoots a turkey with a 223
in Texas, Florida, Alabama, Colorado, Maryland, Missouri, Virginia, Wyoming, West Virginia, Oklahoma, Utah, Montana is legal hunting a turkey with .223 xD
I would be more concerned about 30-30 and 243 on turkeys in cotw xD
Thats is false. Just because that comes up on google does not make it true.

Here is the list of links to each state's turkey hunting regulation.

Upland and Turkey Regulations for Montana
It does specify that rifles are legal for turkeys, along with shotguns, bows, crossbows, handguns and air guns
Then of course you got New Zealand
That is a list. I can go make a list myself and post it on the web. It is not correct. 100% illegal in Missouri. I visited a few other state websites the last time this list was posted and the ones I looked up are illegal also. I do think there are a cpuple states that have a fall season thats its legal but thats about it.
So you are correct, Missouri does not allow Turkey to be hunted with Rifles so I imagine some of the linked articles are either presenting misinformation or are outdated, though it does appear that besides Montana the other states that allow it include Utah (Rimfire Only), Virginia, Texas (Except for Spring Turkey in certain counties), Maryland (Fall Season Only), Colorado (Fall Season), West Virginia, Oklahoma (Fall Season Only) and Wyoming
Though I should also mention that we should all return the direction of this thread back to the bobcats, which are no longer reaching the 90kg mark anymore which is a good fix for the bobcats

This is like the 5th post I've seen for an animal remodel. At this point somebody should look into hiring a new model designer or two because sheesh.
Class 2 would be fine, but I think they should make it to where you can only head shot them with a rifle, no body shots. Irl you’d absolutely ruin the meat by shooting a turkey in the body.
It's just the older models tbh, the recent ones are REALLY good
I agree. God put turkeys on Earth to be shot in the face. Or with a bow. Man you have to put it right down the pipe with it facing you not to ruin the meat with a rifle
Or a broadside head shot. Not ideal but in game it would work.
Agreed. They have improved over the years. Now mostly they just need tweaks instead of remodels. I seen some folks saying the Tahr weren't really correct
Needs the dramatic flopping animation.
almost to 100
Now at 100
Despite being cat fan number one I forgot how bad they where
