Great one Roe deer

Ive always liked Roe deer, they are very cute yet under rated. They're antlers aren't very special, which made making the different racks difficult because most nontypical roe deer I found looked quite ugly, I did find a couple references I liked.

If pulled off correctly,I think they’d be great,Bringing light to those lower powered guns.

Solid Start
The 3 "brown" furs are a little too similar (Maybe one could be more Piebald inspired, and the Rose one More Red)
1 & 2 Concept of the horns are a little too alike as well But, that doesn't mean they're bad.
Good Realistic Take nonetheless. I'm always down for more Great Ones.

Yeah…maybe add something else to Tulip.

More of a gradient Fade from a darker red to lighter yellow or white (maybe some stripe pattern)

Maybe even a lighter crème color on the face,Similar to the color of a tulip,just lighter!

i think they should add a new fur variant for go’s like albino and red mixed? Like bright white and blood red? It would be cool to see on some red deer, moose or even bear!!

I dunno if someone already cover this point. I think merrigold, tulip and rose have to be more different than the classic fur

The classic fur is pretty accurate, but apparently the antlers can get bigger than the ones on diamonds

true, but we do have Medved (why they chose musk deer there idk) and they could be a great backfill to give medved better options than tiny 2 and caribou

A medved backfill of Roe deer might just help them get a GO too 3rd map I think?

i think they should have their own species called siberian roe deer because they are quite a big different than european roe deer

Yeah ive been thinking of fixing them, but so far i have yet to find either inspiration or good references of potential unique fur types

Still need to research more about roe deer because i have yet to see any interesting furs for real life roe deer to based fabled furs on

Honestly you might have to take som artistic liberties.There isn’t too much variety when it comes to roe deer.

Perhaps, i dont really like having to do that with real animals for fear of creating something very ugly and unrealistic

I like the rack idea, since theres so little you can do with Roe Deer racks. However, add more fur types. Keep the lily and merrigold and rose, but add some more, just like the moose and fallow deer, where very fur has a diffrent color scheme in some way

Yup,minus the size,many Europeans first Big Game Kill was the adorable Roe Deer,just as whitetail is across the pond.I also hear they fall pretty easily similar to whitetail.

Maybe
Whitetails can rarely get palmated antlers as a natural morph, no pain or anything, just forms that way. Is that possible for roe deer? Afraid i don't know much about roe deer

In theory you would think they could, especially since mutations like that can come from thonking the growing antler (or drop tines etc)

Though idk if roe can truly do a drop tine
