Add hit-able rib cage’s because it would make sure u cant kill plains bison with a 2-6 with one shot

You actually could do that in real life, if you hit a vital organ. And bullets do hit bone ... at least scapula, so I would assume they can / do hit ribs. Can't see why it's a problem. I can't believe it's all that common of an occurrence.
If someone want's to use a low level weapon to shoot Bison, why shouldn't they, if they don't care about the penalty for using the wrong ammo? If it really bothers you, the solution is simple. Don't do it. What other players do doesn't affect you or your game.
I actually prefer using the Sundberg 454 on Bison, and not using a rifle at all.

The harvest screen shows the bullet path already, including skeleton & vital organs.
