I'm on on Layton, and I'm getting like a reptilian/jurassic park raptor sound from deer. Not only is it the wrong sound, but it's also really loud, like it's right underneath me. With headphones on, it's unbearable, and literally makes me jump every time it blasts that loud annoying sound into my ears. I can't figure out how to fix it, either. Tried reinstalling and checking integrity. Removing and readding all DLC, restarting PC/game, etc. This sucks and I'm not sure what to do about it.

I'd advise sending in a bug report via the report portal, and either a video with the sounds or your save file. I was hunting in Layton this morning, and heard nothing odd there, so it's probably an intermittant bug. Whitetail make some strange noises, but I'm guessing you are familiar with those sounds.
