i jsut bought a new bowsight and i cant use its rangefinder?

if it's the sight from the DLC with the nightvision binos then it just be to equip the sight and then press R to set the range, they changed it from E to R with the Emerald Coast patch

What’s the new key if you’re using controller with pc… it used to be X on the Xbox controller
