Yeah the Rocky Mountain Elk antlers in COTW are impressive, but they're still a little bit too skinny.

I really think the Bighorn Sheep and Rocky Mountain Elk are probably species that suffered from the rocky (no pun intended) release of SRP.

If the 3D artists were rushed to meet a deadline and didn't have time to polish up the models, that would explain why some of the species that came with SRP look much better than others. For example, the Mountain Goats and Pronghorn look a lot better than the Bighorn Sheep and Rocky Mountain Elk, with the Merriam Turkeys being pretty much average in terms of quality, and that would make sense if the 3D artists working on the SRP release were rushed to meet a some sort of deadline. They probably got the Mountain Goats, Pronghorn and Turkeys finished and looking good first, and then had to cut some corners with the other species in order to get the map released in time.

It's also the case that SRP was released in the middle of 2020, so the pandemic probably didn't help with that. Whatever the case may be, EW should definitely go back and rework these species at some point, because they just don't match the quality of some other species in the game.

Here's what a diamond Rocky Mountain Elk should look like. They should have a lot more mass on their antlers and should have these ivory-colored tips on their antler tines

is it just me or are the antlers positioned wrong as well

the way they grow... looks like they're pointing the wrong way, should be more back rather than facing straight upward i think
