Welcome to Nepal...the land of solitary meditation and peace. As you trek thru Asia's playground, you'll hunt in the shadows of the Himalayas. However, don't underestimate this mountain land, as we got more to offer than tall mountains and barren wastelands. As you look at our beautiful reserve from our mountain tops, you'll see our savannahs mesh into grasslands, forests evolve into even denser forests, and may even see the Shaolin Temple off in the view. Be careful whenever you hunt and trek this beautiful land, as you may spook a swamp deer in the lowlands, a flock of mandarin ducks on one of our lakes and rivers, or a blue sheep in the high mountains. However, keep your footing, as the elusive Indian leopard will turn you into the prey, and the yak into dust. So, what are you waiting for; enjoy this playground in the foothills of the Himalayas.

     Existing Species:
       Wild Boar
       Sambar Deer
       Greylag Goose
       Axis Deer
       Blackbuck
     New Species:
       Himalayan Snowcock
       Mandarin Duck
       Balkai Teal
       Indian Leopard
       Swamp Deer
       Himalayan Wolf
       Nilgai
       Blue Sheep
       Himalayan Tahr
       Yak
       Himalayan Marmot
       Bengal Fox

The main story mission will involve Nepal's history and how it's unique, due to the lack of European Colonialism and Buddist culture. The side missions will still revolve around the main story, but branch off to explore the reserves geogeaphical features

General map layout, with names of the certain biomes of the reserve and their "sects"/divisions. The X's are the outposts, the squiggly lines are the lookout towers, and the black lines are the roads/trails that lead to each outpost and lookout tower. Lastly, the purple dot is where, you, the player, will start your adventure

Pictures of the new animals to give y'all a better idea of what they look like

While there is another Nepal thread….

This one has more detail and therefore I like it
Here is some points I would like to share
• While the Himalayan Wolf is not allowed to be hunted in Nepal, an alternative for a large predator could be the Himalayan Black Bear (and should this reserve and Japan both release, we could potentially have 2 reserves with a subspecies of the Asiatic Black Bear)
•Another potential inclusion for this reserve could be the Indian Muntjac (Also known as the Northern Red Muntjac).
• For the Blackbuck: For their presence on this reserve it could be said that the population here is the largest in all of Nepal, same with Barasingha (a stretch) and Leopard

Images are of the Himalayan Black Bear and Indian Muntjac

Also do you have any weapons planned for this reserve?

#

Also just remembered: If this map gets released, that means a Tahr backfill to Te Awaroa

#

Just remembered another potential big game animal for this reserve: Himalayan Goral

Honestly ANYTHING to get Blue Sheep and Himalayan Snowcock in game,This map would look beautiful

What the weapon classes for each of the new animal (and species I suggested) would be
• Yak - Class 9
• Nilgai - Class 8
• Himalayan Black Bear - Class 7
• Barasingha/Swamp Deer - Class 6
• Indian Leopard, Wolf - Class 5
• Blue Sheep, Tahr - Class 4
• Goral - Class 3
• Bengal Fox, Muntjac - Class 2
• New Birds, Marmot - Class 1

I would have to roll with the 7mm-08 or a 17HMR as a new weapon. the 7mm-08 would be a great opponent for the 7mm and would kill the same class range of animals, and the 17HMR would go in a growing field of weapons that would rival the .243, .223, .22 Hornet, and 22-250.

#

I would like to see the Asiatic Black Bear too; so that would be a great fit, since the Himalayan Wolf cant be hunted. I added the Swamp Deer and Leoaprds into the game, because they would fit super well in the reserve, have a good sized population in Nepal, and if Hirsch can have Euro Bison and Lions can be in Vurhonga, than leopards and swamp deer can be added into this reserve

#

For class ranges of the new species, the only thing I would change is the leopard moving up to a class 7 species, just because it's a big cat and bigger than a mountain lion in terms of size and weight. Also, I wouldn't add the Goral, just becuase there's already Tahr and Blue Sheep on the map, which could cause a dense opulation of animals in a short area

Oh...ok. About the mountain maps, and how Nepal is one of the most put on this list, I wanted to put my own spin on it

Is there any type of Bear in Nepal that are legal to hunt? Can they be added to this list?

#

Asiatic Black Bears like on my Japanese reserve suggestion

#

Also would like to suggest another canine species that could replace the Himalayan Wolf since they're protected in Nepal. The Golden Jackal

Yeah I made one

It's called Gaisam Game Reserve, and there's another, honestly better one called Karakul Valley

#

Sweet! You got a link or shrotcut to both? Also, is hunting allowed in Pakistan?

They could make the home range of the Bengal Fox in the dense forests and lower brushlands, and make the home range of the Golden Jackal in the grasslands and mountain plateaus. However, if you also want to add Indian Leopards and Asiatic Black Bears, EW would more than liekly either add the Bengal Fox or Golden Jackal, not both

I’d say either 2-7 or 2-6 for soft points
