Been hunting in Revontuli for Ptarmigan today - Rock and Willow. For those unfamiliar, to get a trophy score, you have to bag them in flight. I discovered that, despite the fact that Ptarmigan are land birds and are landing on dry ground, they splash when landing. As do Hazel Grouse and Capercaille.
