I would love to see a class 1-3 rifle added to the game.
The 204 is a cartage made for small game to have high penetraion, low expansion and little no recoil. The recoil of the 204 is only 5.3 pounds vs the 11 pounds of recoil in a 243 win.
The 204 also comes in a wide range of rounds of bullet sizes. 24 grain for rabbit size game and all the way up to a 45 grain bullet that is perfect for prey the size of coyotes, lynx and foxes.
The 204 ruger is effective out to 400 yards with 502 foot pounds of energy at 2376fps, which is well inside most situations in game for an ethical kill.
22-250 vs 204 Ruger:
22-250 Is a larger round which would push it out of the ethical use on class 1 animals. It does pack more punch than the 204.
204 Ruger Is smaller with the 24gr bullet similar to the 22s in game but with more than enough punch to move up the food chain to class 3 animals.
