In the one of the more recent streams about Emerald Coast, Jaxy said scopes were difficult to handle because of draw distance and technical limitations. This feel like an excuse. Multiple scopes have already been implemented with various other weapons, the crossbow and drilling are great examples of this. To be totally honest, the Hudzik's Galileo scope feels like a reskinned hyperion using the reticle from the helios scope. The Argus scope is horribly overpowered and shakey.
The Falcon (drilling) 3-9x44 scope was added in a weapon pack fairly recently, if it was reskinned to fit the rifles, it would be an amazing change of pace from the Hyperion. It uses a plain reticle more suited to hunting than the Hyperion's mil-dot, traditionalists would love this to be on their rifles.
A lower powered scope, similar to the base game Ascent 1-4x24 would be great to have in heavily wooded environments. In most of Emerald coast the Ascent is my preferred scope because it's not overly strong. Still, a 2-7x32 scope would be a huge improvement without being overpowered for the thicker forests.
The Argus 8-16x50, is massively overpowered for almost any reserve, not to mention it's hard to use at medium distance and useless close up. A simpler scope would be a huge upgrade. A 6-12x44 would be great for longer distances and not suffer nearly as much shake while still being fairly reliable up close.
A personal gripe is the mil-dot reticles used in the hyperion and argus. Mil-dot is fine for target shooting and some people just like it more, but the reticle used in the Ascent scope and the Falcon scope is more traditional for hunting scopes. Maybe, in the same way the rifle has three customization options, the scope could have two: one for the reticle, and one for the metal finish of your choice?
As a side note to all this, everyone seems in agreement on it, so why are the tritium sights not a permanent mount on your rifle? It should be a regular upgrade
