I think bait piles would bring a whole new aspect of RP and or realistic hunting. A dlc could be added allowing hunters to purchase bait such as corn, salt blocks, alfalfa, and other sorts of bait even peanut butter this would allow the hunter to set up baiting areas for a more realistic hunting style.

Bait barrels for bears or feeders for Feral Pigs/Wild Boars like the ones in Classic would be a lot of fun. That being said, I think feeders for deer specifically are very unnecessary. Drink zones for the deer species in the game already have tons of animals at them, how could feeders really be much more effective than that?

it’s cool but it probably won’t be useful since the game is based around static need zones, would be a cool addition if a classic 2.0 came out one day

The way I see it, this could be a way to create a custom feed zone for a particular species, one that, depending on where you place it, might attract more animals than a normal feed zone would.

That being said, it would have to be balanced so that too much hunting pressure would cause animals to stop using your artificial feed zone, at least until you clear the hunting pressure. That way you couldn't solely rely on a single bait site if you're doing a grind, you'd still have to hunt the animals in other locations so the bait site remains effective.
