COTW saving issues

I use epic games, I don't know if it does something weird with the game files/saves but I have a weird problem. Everytime I play the game, and go back to the home screen and close game, the game doesn't have the files I had when I closed the game when I launch it. It's really annoying to do everything again and I can't play the game properly anymore.

Hello and thank you for you support, but the porblem was that my pc thought cotw was a virus so it didn't allow to modify saves.
