idk whats happend here sometimes when I quit the game the theHunterCotW_F.exe process stays up and wont let me kill it or open anything on the computer anymore, and I end up having to hard reset.
Anyone knows anytimes about this ?

Have the same problem. And it’s not every time. It’s random. So I really have no idea what causes it. I didn’t seem to have this issue until I surpassed 1k hours
Edit: when u close does yours stay on a black screen and freeze your entire pc until u force shut down? Cuz that’s what mine does when it happens.

So funny enough. Do you have it set to run as administrator? Once I turned that off it seems to actually shut down properly again. Randomly tried this as I have no idea when or why I had this checked. Hope this helps some what!

Did you figure anything out on your end or if u had it on by chance? I haven’t run into this issue again since unchecking the run as admin. Definitely interesting to me

I deleted everything and seems to be working fine until now

open taskmanager and close it down manually perhaps the next time it happends

It happens here too and it's impossible to kill it. Luckily, what still works is ctrl-alt-del and user logout. This way i'm avoiding any hard reboots and i'm back on the desktop in no time.

I think I fixed, but there's a problem I dont know for sure what caused the bug. So what I did I put my game in window mode and /borderless on the launch option, turn the vsinc on to limit the fps cause I was getting 300+ on ultra and my cpu wasn't liking it very much and lastly I did a fresh install on windows
