Beasts similar to the Fabled Ones with a more grim backstory. (Great One/Grim One)
Portrayed as Primal, Savage, or Relics of time.
Work the same as Fabled ones. Comeup in Codex as Grim One
In order as they appear from oldest map to current.

4- Wild Boar (hogzilla)

Layton Lake

The Keelut is an Inuit legend that is a black, hairless dog. Maybe this could be a Cursed One wolf in Yukon Valley?

After all is said and done, EW could poll the community for one of each Fabled/Forsaken to be added to any species without Great/Grim Status.
We could be left with 1 or 2 species that have both, Forsaken One Quail💀, Great One Euro Rabbit, both votes could go to Roe Deer💀
Left to the community could be questionable at best but a Great way to close the game out after EVERY update and Final Map have come out.

More semi-fantastic animals hidden after the abuse of a grinding mechanic that wastes 90% of the rest of the map and forms of hunting, for me no thanks.

I understand not liking the unrealistic animals but I really don't see how grinding has anything to do with it. You don't have to grind to get a Great One. People have spawned them in less then a hundred kills. How does grinding come into factor here? I do see how some wouldn't want wasted space on non realistic animals over actual hunting though.

More GOs, more need to grind...
This question was already discussed in https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1096093628365017160 a while ago, the fact is that grinding only in drinking areas wastes all the potential of a map, many do not even go through the maps and only clear the lake and river areas so as not to activate the spawns, even new players enter and the first thing they say is "Hi, I've been in the game for 2 days, how do I get my first GO?", they see the GO as the goal of the game and that they have to grind whit HM to get it..

@strange heron You have a good point about new players. Once they get burned out on the grind maybe they will actually enjoy the hunting aspect. If you grind all the time it would be boring

This discord section is supposed to be made to show what the community wants and doesn't want, I'm within my rights to vote against..
And I think that more GOs would not contribute anything to the game, it would only promote grinding, if they were other rare skins for other animals I have no problem since real variations still need to be added

I get that but about every post I see that you comment in you are always being negative to other players. Like in my post you said it wasn't possible and wouldn't make sense for more ducks to come to mississippi but it does because deer season starts in November and you kept saying it was september.

#

And in an Africa post you were being negative and going on a rant but most of what you said wasn't true

I mean honestly even regular hunting is a form of grinding because it a game. You have to sleep over and over and they spawn back. I think GOs are great for the game. It gives you that feeling that over the next hill might be the one. If everything was just common and there's nothing special to work for what's the point in a video game. We can't actually get meat in our freezer so there has to be something to look forward to.

My intent with the idea is to add variety to Great Ones.

With more animals that can be Great Ones in turn there's more probability of getting one.

I understand with the thought of new Great One comes the thought of drink zone grinding comes up too but Emerald Coast has proven that great need zone grinding can be done. (hopefully to be implemented into future maps more often)

New players do usually come for the Great Trophies but will leave because the grind. (nothing wrong with this) But players that DO stay and have more time to put into learning how the mechanics within the game work don't mind the grind and find the rewards very satisfying.

# potent breach I mean honestly even regular hunting is a form of grinding because it a game. Yo...

In this matter of "endangered" animals from Africa, I attached the CITES address with the trophy quotas to which I was referring, I don't think I was wrong with that...
In the Mississippi I also attached the dates of the legal hunting seasons in Louisiana, I also just pointed out that POSSIBLY the reason for not having ducks was the seasons, it was an idea that came up in another thread..
If objective opinions bother you, I will simply refrain from doing them and I will only downvote if I do not like the idea

Im not saying not to express yourself I'm just wondering why everything is always negative.
I'm not talking about CITES, I will say you where right on that but about how you said stuff about everything is managed and not even being hunt well that was wrong. You acted like they're pinned animals, I mean the are but a pen that is 39 square miles is pretty much free roam.

@strange heron I have no problem with your opinions. I think you tagged the wrong person

The Purpose of an alternative name for Great Ones is NOT to Replace them, but to give variety to Trophy Titles.
They DO NOT have to look "Grizzly or Grim", as not all Fabled* look "peaceful & majestic".
