Bringing up some buried posts while making a point, Moose & Red Deer arent the only prized big game & they need Reworked. Wish they'd organize the feeds in discord as well its getting cluttered & hard to keep track anymore. Plus each thread brings up valid points EW shouldn't overlook when they rework them. Its downright criminal it wasn't even an option in the polls awhile back so ofc mule deer was the only real option bc they also needed it.

• Canada has their Moose [G1/Reworked]
• EU has their Red Deer [G1/Reworked]
•Africa has their Cape Buffalo [Reworked]
• US needs their Elk

We need more Elk bumps until they get some love. They are so underrated in this game. Elk aren't just in the US either. They need love everywhere.

This is True but I'm seeing a trend with EW placing Moose & Red Deer everywhere while we only have 2 reserves: 1 with Rosies & 1 with Rockies. Elk should be just as iconic as Moose & Red Deer are. No disrespect to Mule Deer which is probably the 2nd most Popular in the US followed by Whitetail deer that btw also have a G1/Rework as well?! Its been bugging me Elk have been getting ignored while other species have been getting TLC. It doesnt make sense.

I'm personally hoping the animals that was in the survey was because they aren't on the next map. That could mean we might get the British Columbia map with both species of Elk to bump up the Elk hunting in this game. Then hopefully more in the future to get the Elk hunting the love it deserves.

I'm pretty confident its BC based on the Survey & teaser, I'd be shocked if it isn't. But theirs several good candidates for US Western states for Elk. Idk about other parts of the world except Canada since I dont hunt out of country.

I hope so! I wouldn't mind a Mongolia map with elk at some point. Idaho, Dakotas, Kodiak island and California are options as well

Personally I really want Wyoming for Elk. Aside from the state being iconic in US Western history & 1 of the top 3 furbearer states it has a history with elk specifically over others & its not bias I did alot of digging b4 making a decision on posting a thread. But Dakotas are on my list for community bird hunters, Kodiak island I'd expect to be an off grid hunt w/o structures engaging players to camp instead. Idaho is also a really good location with new additions. California I really hate the state with every fiber in my body but is rich in multiple species given its borders and geography.

California is pretty nice outside of the urban areas, there’s a reason Teddy loved Yosemite!

I hate its Gov't like you wouldn't believe. As for the wildlife & geography it is a great state, but outside of that I have nothing good to comment on. Only other state I wont go to again is New York.

🤣 I hated Chicago as well. Top3 hated places: Cali, New York, & Chicago. I've enjoyed my time everywhere else thus far both visiting & hunting. Though Ohio was alot of fun as well I enjoyed the bike ride there as well as the scenery & folks, but never hunted there yet.

Honestly I have no grudge for the state just the city. Traffic sucks, ppl were unbarable, & the city was in shambles. H**l Denver fell apart as well its sad the stadium is the only thing that looks good & not scrapped together with scraps its horrible & terrified me bc I 1st travelled there when I was 7 & it was gorgous now its a slum.

But personal views aside EW needs to step back for a moment an make a shift in direction. I get they cant do everything we ask but the points I'm really wanting to see are reasonable & appliable ntm long over due. I'm hoping they'll blow our minds this year bc UH is coming to set the new standard "(IF)" it delivers.
