i cant even launch the game

hi, so i have played hunter call of the wild on xbox just fine but i bought it off of steam a few months ago and it instantly gave me a crash report. i requested a refund got my money back just bought it again and now the game is doing the same excat thing. i dont think its a game issue because my friend can play it just fine and he just got it. can any one help with this issue
