Seeing as the next great one will most likely be the european bison, and that great ones are able to have features from prehistoric ancestors, as seen by the irish elk rack great one fallow deer, steppe bison horns could fit in well for a bison great one

they would probably add both bison great ones at the same time since they are so similar and I think the next great one will be wild boar

That is the extinct long horn bison that roamed most of the United States and zero % of Europe

Well that explains how the long-horned bison (Bison latifrons) evolved from the Steppe Bison (Bison priscus) (and later evolved into the Ancient Bison (Bison antiquus) and then the American Bison)

At least in regards to North America

The knowledge I was showen showed that it was a instinct bison species that roamed North America and died out a super long time ago and then transferred into the bison of today and or the pains bison

The steppe bison is different enough from the long-horned bison and both were present in North America at the same time
• The Steppe Bison lived from France to the Yukon Territory
• Long-horned Bison were exclusive to North America (Southern Canada, USA & Mexico)
