I have noticed there are a lot fewer mating calls now. I’ve played about 5 hrs on Emerald Coast and I’ve gotten maybe 4 or 5 mating calls and the rest are warning calls and the new fleeing one. This has been the experience of a few of my friends as well. Im not sure if this is the case for all reserves but this does hurt the gameplay some what because a mating call is a good indicator of what’s around you before you are too close. Great map otherwise

I don't see any change in that, the animals make their calls approx every 3-5min but you can only hear them if you are 150m away from them, if the animal made the call when you were out of that range you didn't hear it..
The fact that animals run away when you are 100-120m away from them makes it difficult to hear these types of calls if you are not quiet enough or don't have the appropriate skills
