Sometimes, it's really difficult to tell what fur type an animal has whenever you spot it, so it would be a lot easier if whenever we spot an animal, it would tell us it's fur type.

I understand what you're saying here but I also find it cool spotting an animal through a bush and then not being sure if it's a rare. Or for example needing to track it for disturbed vegetation.

In that case take the hud off if you want the immersion. Its a lot like a hardcore mode and can be fun from time to time.
