Hey! I really think there should be a ''save game'' feature. A family member accidentally clicked ''new game'' and all of my progress was lost.

So when u start a ''new game'' it automatically saves on a new slot2 and not the previous slot1 with all old progress on.
So if u go back to the old slot1 with all the progress on it automatically saves on that one.

Depending on how many slots u can have in game, there could be a warning window that pops up saying no more slots are available and u will have to delete a old one in order to save a new save slot.

@inland hamlet I would love some save slots for Xbox. My game crashed last year after one of the bugged updates they had and corrupted my save file and I lost my entire Trophy lodge. When the game crashes the Xbox tries to save to the cloud at the same time and corrupts the file. After having to Rebuild my entire lodge yes I 💯percent agree. Probably will never happen though.

@inland hamlet The game engine may not even allow it.

For XBOX I think there aren't many options but for PC there are a few ways to work around it, albeit against the community guidelines because it involves touching the save files.
I backup my saves fairly often and I think all PC players should, so I made a little something to help me with my backups. I have it around if you want it.

Yeah not everyone knows how to touch the game files to create their own save and players shouldn't need to do that at all.
I kind of lost interest playing when its that easy to lose your progress.
I hope for a save system in the future.
And yes I am on Steam (PC).

Backing up saves is a pain in the ass on PlayStation, and impossible on Xbox.
