Three new American black bear variations to hunt in the game, based on real-world variations!

Leucistic, Kermode, Spirit, Ghost
Rare
Based on the spirit bears of Canada, this could serve as the new rarest variation for the American black bear. Kermode bears, also known as spirit bears, are a type of American black bear, with a uniquely large white-pelted population. They can be found in the British Columbia region of Canada.

Glacier, Blue, Siamese, Colorpoint
Mission-Only
Glacier bears, or blue bears, are a population of black bears found in Alaska with a unique blonde coloration with a bluish face and/or limbs. This skin could be featured in the game as a special mission, much like the Mocha moose!

I also included Siamese as a possible name as they kinda remind me of a blue point Siamese cat.

I'm unsure of what to call this one and I am down for name suggestions. This coat, which could be a common coat, adds a white patch to the bear's chest. This patch could be circular, arrow-shaped, or heart shaped. Many Great One / Fabled bear variations already have this marking, but I think it would be a great addition to the standard bear roster.

It is offtopic, but here is a blue point siamese for comparison, a look as into why Siamese could be a possible name for this new coat.

Also looking for suggestions on what map the Blue Bear mission could be featured in. I'm thinking Silver Ridge Peaks or New England Mountains but I do not own either DLC and have only seen some bits and pieces of those maps.

Thank you! Black bears are absolutely one of my favorite creatures EVER and I was suprised by the lack of a Kermode (especially given that the game has a blue bobcat, which... only one bobcat ever hunted has looked like that)
Technically there is a Kermode in the Great One. The white one with a red head. But that's a GO rather than a standard bear.

Ok wait, I have found a possible error with this suggestion

see, kermode and glacier bears are more so regional variants of the american black bear, i guess? glacier bears are specifically found in alaska and kermodes in the british columbia region of canada. nowhere else are these two varieties of black bear found. yet our current rares (cinnamon and blonde) can be found just about anywhere black bears roam

you wont find either kermode or glacier bear in missisippi, washington, maine or colorado. so it is better that they are GO variants (and they are! tho the glacier bears dont look exactly like the irl ones)

but who knows, maybe in future maps they'll be mission only, like the mocha moose and the fantasma of cuatro colinas!

going to bump this again. unfortunately this might be my final bump. while these do exist as great ones, some (like the glacier) hardly look like the actual regional variants. honestly since these are more so regional than actual rares i can only see them as mission animals for future maps (glacier/blue/siamese in alaska and kermode in canada)

For The “Common” There Could Be A Different Common Fur For Different Maps. Laytons Could Be Called “Moon” Since Olympic Black Bears Have A Large White Patch That Often Resembles A Moon. Silver Ridges Should Be Chocolate, With Cinnamon Being An Uncommon Since Cinnamon Bears Are Quite Common In The Mountain West. Mississippi And New Englands Would Be The Generic “Black” Fur Type.

Since we have two Spirit fur types one being a brown bear in game already that doesn't look like the B.C. regional Kermode Ghost Bear, I suggest taking the albino and spirit names out of your description and changing the fur type in your description to Kermode Ghost so it differentiates itself from the other 2 that isn't the Kermode Ghost Bear. Here are pictures below of the 2 in-game and a picture of the Kermode Ghost Bear.

I personally think these shouldn't be variations. I think now that we have Bengal Tigers and Snow Leopards we should have the Kermode and Glacier Bear in the game with their own rare variations.

We would miss out on so many variations if they were just added to the black bear. They couldn't add all the variations these could bring just adding them to the black bear.

We already have subspecies in the game so let's add more and bring in some amazing new fur types.
