- The Reserve is dominated by 2 massive mountain ranges, with a river cutting through
- The northern mountains are home to Marco Polo Sheep & Ibex
- The southeastern mountains are home to markhor & urial.
- The southwestern mountain range in the west is where the ibex and urial dwell. It is also a potential home for a second type of Argali
- They are separated by a secondary river
- All mountain ranges are also home to marmots, wolves, chukar, snowcock and yak
- The River Valley and the large eastern lake is where you can find the rest of the species
