Add the Northern Lights to Yukon Valley and Medved Taiga

I love seeing the Northern Lights (also known as the Aurora Borealis) on Revontuli Coast. However, I think it would be really cool if we could also see the Aurora Borealis in Yukon Valley and Medved Taiga as well, because those maps are also located in regions where you can see the Aurora Borealis at night. It would be so amazing to hunt wolves at night with the Northern Lights in the sky up above.

I’m sure some of the New Zealanders could answer this but how common is seeing the Aurora Australis in a place like Te,nearly free of light pollution?

Because I’d love to see the Southern Lights in this game

From what little info I was able to find online (I'm not from NZ btw) it seems like the southern parts of New Zealand can be pretty good places to see the Aurora Australis. It might be cool to see that in the game on Te.

oh for sure, that's what I had in mind. Wolves howling and the Northern Lights happening simultaneously would be the most awe-inspiring thing in this game imo.

I've done some more research and it appears that some of the other maps in the game might be able to have the Aurora Borealis visible on them too. Layton Lake seems to be based in Washington State, which is far enough north to see the Northern Lights from time to time. New England Mountains is in New Hampshire and that means that it would also be far enough north to occasionally see the Northern Lights there. Obviously it would not happen as often or spectacularly on these maps as it would on Yukon or Medved, but perhaps it could still be a special rare event on those two maps.

Based on the latest teaser, it seems like the next map will have the Aurora Borealis on it. That will be our second map that has it. Why not add it to Medved Taiga and Yukon Valley as well?

yes, exactly. It's crazy that a map in Alberta has the Northern Lights but a map in Alaska doesn't.
