I think an update completely devoted to the improvements of models and textures of current species would do wonders to improve the hunting experience and may encourage people to return to (or buy) different maps with better looking animals. Several species in the game have models and textures that would benefit from a quick fix.
For example, here’s some animals that could do with changes:
Roe deer- improved fur and more fur types
Coyote- new models that look less skinny
Roosevelt elk- new fur textures
Rocky Mountain elk- slight changes to their proportions
Axis deer- retextured furs
Iberian mouflon- new fur textures
Lion- changes to their face
Mule deer- changes to their antlers to make them curl around more (especially with the bigger ones)
Overall, I think that if you give all the animals fur like you have with the moose, it will make the game way cooler from a visual standpoint. Some of the above mentioned species do not need changes as greatly as others but some definitely require fixes. I’m open to any thoughts or suggestions on the matter.
