Love Mountain Hunting on Cuatro and srp,The main 2 mountain hunting countries have already been done (Pakistan and Mongolia)

The gun that would come with this reserve is a Bolt Action 30-378 Weatherby Magnum can kill elk, moose, caribou, brown bears, eland, kudu, sable, and similar size game beyond 300 yards is a possible gun more options for big game is one of my biggest wants.Something like this would be beautiful.Used for classes 4-9

Another Weapon idea is the .270 commonly used in the region.They could Reclass and buff the .270 to 3-7 because many feel it’s underpowered for the class range it’s at now

One problem would be the new maral species. Maral and red deer in this case are the same species. If maral is referring to the Asian wapiti species they don’t live this far west.

Caucasus Mountains Reserve 🏔

I really like this idea. I like goat hunting in cotw but our only main goat map is cuatro, so having 2 would be nice

Here are pictures of a Kuban (West Caucasian) Tur (first image) and a Dagestan (East Caucasian Tur (second image)

I should also mention that the brown bears that do get hunted in the area belong to the Mid-eastern (Syrian) subspecies which is the smallest subspecies (550 pounds is considered a big one)

You can also make the Caucasian Chamois a simple variant of the Chamois (a literal name change is all that is needed)

It was also easier for me to find info about Yak Hunting in the Caucasus Mountains then info about European Bison hunts in the area
And they are just as dangerous
(They can be used in place of the European Bison)

I see you also got Bezoar Ibex on the list, and if you want a sheep species for the area, I can’t think of a better choice then the Armenian Mouflon

And while Eurasian Lynx are interesting, the better cat choice (so we can have even more new species) would be the Jungle Cat (yes they do live in the Caucasus Mountains, they are found from Turkey & Egypt all the way to Vietnam), also known as the Reed Cat and Swamp Cat, they would be found in the lowland areas of the reserve

This would also be a good opportunity for a couple of new waterfowl species
• Red-crested Pochard
• Garganey

Tufted Duck could also make a return

Since your suggesting the 270 be changed to be a Class 3-7 rifle

It is safe to assume the 30-378 is going to be a Class 4-8 rifle?

I’d think it would be 4-8,Yeah

But heavy emphasis on 8’s,most of the 4-8 rifles hardly kill the class 8’s It would be very accurate as well

Also if you do want wolves you could go down the route I went with my Mongolian Reserve and go with a local subspecies
And the main subspecies is the Steppe Wolf a.k.a the Caspian Sea Wolf (Canis lupus campestris). It lives in the Caucasus Mountains (along with parts of Central Asia & Southwestern Russia)

Sandgrouse and Francolin seem like birds that you shoot at after flushing them
I should also add that the Black-bellied Sandgrouse seem to be more common in the area

Like we have both Layton and NEM looking alike, nothing is stopping them from making another mountain hunting reserve. And I think Caucasus mountains are the only mountain range left in the world that we still don't have a map of, lol

The Andes, Alps, Ethiopian Highlands, Pyrenees, Tian Shan, Zagros, and Carpathians don’t have maps on top of the Caucasus. Granted, many of these ranges don’t need maps.

The Bezoar Ibex is not popular hunting in Caucasus Mountains because there is fewer population, it is more in Turkey. Western Tur, Eastern Tur And Caucasus Chamois is Triad of Caucasus Mountain Species.

Seeing as how we got blackbuck on Sundarpatan despite the irl population being rather small (there is probably more blackbuck in a single county in Texas then all of Nepal)

I don’t see the Bezoar Ibex and Armenian Mouflon (same part of the Caucasus) overshadowing the the Tur & Chamois

Western and Eastern Tur share the entire length of the Greater Caucasus with the much less abundant chamois. Bezoar (caucasian type) occurs only on the northern side of the eastern Greater Caucasus chain. The Lesser Caucasus lacks tur but has Bezoar and Chamois and some scattered Armenian Mouflon populations.
