So, i was watching a herd of cape buffalo across a valley, waiting to see the albino one I spotted earlier. They just. kept. coming. I must have seen 50 buffalo in this herd. I thought it was strange, then, eventually, highly unlikely. So I scooted over a bit and could see that when one buffalo despawned at 400m, they'd pop up out of thin air lower on the side of the hill. So, of course, they just kept coming. I've kindof seen this before with cape buffalo, but I thought they were just running back and forth at the time. I haven't seen it with other animals yet, but I'm very new.
#Is it normal for a herd to go on a despawn/respawn train?

Render distance I think
Render distance is around 400m. So on more open maps it looks like they despawn out of thin air. I do wish they added a setting that can lengthen your render distance.
The leaving suddenly I get. It's the popping back into view at the bottom of the mountain to just walk up and render out again that seems strange.
Hello @mental flume and thank you for letting us know about this situation with the animal's despawning and respawning this way. If you can make a video when (and if) this happens again and submit it with a support ticket (https://support.thehunter.com/hc/en-us/requests/new) it will be easier for us to investigate. And if you have any other ideas or suggestions, please feel free to share them with us!
