Scopes, Callers, Consumables, Binoculars, etc should have their weights reworked based on different factors like size, materials, amount, or complexity, makes soo little sense that a bow scope would weight 2 kilograms, 64 scent elimiator cans 0.5kg, and a tiny little plastic or wood caller also 0.5kg, or 2 different rifle scopes of different specs weighting the same.

Reworking Gear Weight Values

Items are made that way so they don't all fit together inside the backpack and you have to opt for them, you guys have to get used to the fact that you won't be able to load all the storage inside the backpack.

I wasn't asking for that

Suppose that a real Weight per kilograms is assigned to the items, in my case I have 2 rifles and a shotgun that currently have a Load Value almost similar to their weight, but a shotgun would weigh 2.5kg and each rifle about 3.5kg,** 2 sights telescopic** that would weigh 300gr each in real life, a Tripod that in real life weighs 30kg and** about 5 callers** that could weigh 150gr each, the shotgun takes 500 12 gauge cartridges (30gr per shell = 15kg) and each rifle** 200 bullets** (15gr per bullt, 400 bullet = 6kg)...

My current equipment in the game in real life would weigh almost 62kg and a backpack of a meter and a half, an unrealistic measure of load for a hunt..
That counting only 1 tripod unit, but we all have 5 or 6, maybe 10 or more.
Personally it would be great if things had real weights in the game but I'm sure everyone would hate it since they could only carry a few things.

i just wanted to see some sense in the weight values of certain items, scope being 2 kilograms, a trailer of scent eliminators being 0.5kg makes no sense at all and if reworked could drastically improve weight management
placeables also have wrong values but those dont need no changes imo

perhaps i didnt explain properly

Not exactly the same idea as yours, but I have proposed that the weights of some early-game non-weapon items (scopes and binoculars) be lowered, to encourage their use, even when better, but heavier, equipment is available.

Rather than having one uniform weight for a class of equipment as a whole (e.g., sights = 0.5 units), each individual piece of gear would have its own weight, with less-powerful items weighing less than better ones, providing an incentive for players to use less-powerful items that weigh less in order to, e.g., also carry an additional caller or handgun.

With the exception of the Brightsight Rangefinder Bow Sight (2 units), all sights currently weigh 0.5 units. Under my proposal the Ascent 1-4x24 starting scope might weigh only 0.3, and all the Tritium sights just 0.1 units as they are mostly cosmetic. In cases where there is only one sight for a particular weapon (such as the Muzzleloader Scope), they would remain the same.

Ascent 1-4x24 Rifle Scope 0.3
Hyperion 4-8x42 Rifle Scope 0.5
Argus 8-16x50 Rifle Scope 0.6
Marksman Exakt Reflex Sight 0.2
Galileo Muzzleloader Scope 0.5
GenZero Night Vision Rifle Scope 0.5
Helios Rifle Scope 0.5
Tritium Sights (all weapons) 0.1
Goshawk Redeye Handgun Scope 0.5
Red Raptor Reflex Sight 0.3
Davini Reflex Sight 0.5
Meridian Shotgun Scope 0.5
Falcon Drilling Scope 0.5
Brightsight Rangefinder Bow Sight 2
Brightsight Single-Pin Sight 0.2
Swift-Mark 3 Bow Sight 0.3
Swift-Mark 5 Bow Sight 0.5
Hawken Crossbow Scope 0.5
Vantage 8x42 Binoculars 0.3
Venture 5x30 Rangefinder 0.6
Apexview 7x42 Binoculars 1

I hate that if I want to hunt 2 types of animals I can't. I also DO NOT like the fact no matter what I can't hold a tent or tripod. It's really bad when I walk an hour to get to a place and look at that No TENT because I would of had to leave my 2nd gun or all my scopes and dog biscuits. I totally understand your post and im not sure why people don't like it. Please let us carry a little more weight or here's an idea Do AWAY with storage and let us carry all of items on our player. ❤️

Is that all you got from the post? Maybe I should have said I would like to carry spray and biscuits for the dog a pistol 2 guns ammo lures and a tent or tripod. Does that help you understand the post better? I just hate when not being able to carry at least one to two more items.

You should get the pack mule upgrade. You can still carry everything with it just fine.

The skills and perks in my opinion needs reworked to and I have the pack mule perk . I would get a back pack but then the animals hear me a mile away.

I feel the only thing that needs a weight change is the eckers 30-06 as both 308's, 7mm bolt, 303 and m1 all weigh 3.5 while the eckers is 4.5

The Tsurugi weights 5 units and the tent 6, so that's over half your weight allowance. If you don't need to shoot Class 9 animals, carry a lighter 4-8 weapon, or use the 7mm (which is valid for Class 9). Shotguns and bow would also allow you to cover all classes, depending on what you take. Dog biscuits are not necessary; just praise and pet your dog instead as the result is the same.

Fair, but the new 7mm weighs less and covers a wider range than the .270, weights could be better balanced
