Up to date lever actions

An upgrade for those of us who really enjoy lever action rifles and want to see them shine
First, Classic has fantastic models already like these two screenshots, and newer innovations and experts have made some incredible modern versions of the classics. The ammunition has come a very long way since these rifles first saw use too, companies like buffalo bore and Hornady have made ammunition for a number of lever action calibers that VASTLY improve the range and knockdown power for these older cartridges. Personal experience, I hunt every year with a .30-30, I get pass through shots on black bear at 150 yards, and I can easily kill deer at 250 yards with the same cartridge.This is not to demand a massive shift, but this game is arcadey enough with the ability to shoot any animal we want as much as we want.

I'd like to see the .30-30 buffed to class 3-7 with as much penetration as the 7.62x54r, the .45-70 needs a heavy buff and could be reclassed as 6-9, in the real world the .45-70 is more than capable of pass through shots on bison even a hundred and fifty yards away and usually further. It doesn't need to cover class 4 or 5 because we have too many rifles that do that already. We need rifles MADE to work well on 8 and 9 class animals because the game has practically nothing for those roles. So please, consider these changes EW, it would also help players who only have the base game

I’ve been fascinated by lever-actions for sometime and have had opportunities to fire some chambered in 30-30 & 7mm Magnum

Plus the 45-70 is a gun I always felt needed to be buffed in Call of the Wild to at least be worth it for buffalo

Actually, we have so many 4-8 guns, would the .45-70 be better as a 7-9?

6-9 isn’t a bad idea for 45-70, especially if Saltwater Crocodiles do end up being a Class 6 animal

Please, Every base game gun except the .243 (and the .223 now apparently) are totally obsolete, they all need a good buff

A lever action weapon pack using current calibers ie. .22 mag, .357 mag, .44 mag and a .454 would been an ideal addition to have a lever option for all animals 👌🏻

.243 is probably the only rifle/caliber in game you can use reliably for the full range, the .30-30 should be a 3-7 and be toatally reliabel on black bears as it's a go to black bear/ cougar rifle for folks who hunt with dogs (powerfule enough to end the fight quick and still light enough to carry a very long way through thick brush)

I just wanted to add these pics. A good ammo comparison and an example of modern ammunition, the flexible polymer tip was designed specifically to be safe and still boost the BC of lever action ammo. It also greatly improved the effective range. These compare older loads against the new ones using the poly tip bullets

Why not just ask for them to add in the Winchester 1895 Russian Contract? Then we'd have a long barreled lever gun that uses 7.62x54r, would reload using the same stripper clip mechanism as the Solokhin, would have the same effective range to the Solokhin, but (hopefully) actually hit where it aims (unlike the Solokhin). Only down side would be that it would be limited to the same scopes the other lever guns use.

The Winchester 1895 would be better introduced chambered in 405

I think it'd be best in .405, same as in classic, because we need calibers for 7-9 in a bad way

I mean I added the 454 Lever-action from Bighorn Armory to my Arctic Reserve since the 454 seems to do better on buffalo then the 45-70 in game
