Does anyone know what howl does when you unlock it on youre dog? i dont but i still got it thinking it would have some hidden ability. as far as i know it doesnt do anything but make noise. i think it should work as some kind of coyote or even wolf call. im sure that’s unrealistic but i think it should have some kind of functionality like the rest of the traits.

It's just cosmetic and adds no real game function other than getting other dogs in multiplayer to howl as well.
