Dall’s Sheep
Reserve: Yukon Valley
Class 4
A highly requested species, they live in the mountainous of Alaska and would be found in the southern parts of Yukon Valley.

Wolverine
Reserves: Medved & Yukon
Class 2 or 3
The largest member of the weasel family, the Wolverine is found from Scandinavia to Canada with very small populations in the lower 48. They would be found across both Medved and Yukon but would not be the most common animal that strikes fear in the bear populations on both reserves

#

Barbary Sheep
Reserves: Rancho del Arroyo & Cuatro Colinas
Class 5
An animal found in the mountains of North Africa, they have been introduced to various parts of Southern Europe and North America and as a result would find themselves in both Rancho and Cuatro. In Cuatro specifically they would be found in the same mountains as the Ronda & Southeastern Ibex as they live in Southern Spain

Pere David’s Deer
Reserve: Parque Fernando
Class 6
A large unusual looking deer that once roamed wild in China, they now occur in Europe, the United States and Argentina, and with a population found in the buffalo infested swamps of Parque Fernando, they make a unique addition to the reserve.

Himalayan Tahr
Reserve: Te Awaroa
Class 4
Their inclusion to the list is down to the fact that people want these, I’m not sure what else could be said

#

Siberian Roe Deer
Reserve: Medved Taiga
Class 3
A larger relative of the European Roe Deer, they live from the Ural Mountains to the Pacific Coast of Siberia, and are likely to find themselves wandering through Medved Taiga.

Pyrenean Chamois
Reserve: Cuatro Colinas
Class 3
A species that is related to the Chamois of Central & Eastern Europe, they are unique to Spain, southern France and Italy and 2 subspecies can be hunted in Spain. On Cuatro they live in the same mountains as the Beceite and Gredos Ibex.

#

Grey Seal
Reserve: Revontouli Coast
Class 2 or 3
A large seal found in the North Atlantic and Baltic Seas, they can be hunted in Finland alongside the Ringed Seal (a species featured in the https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1070045518002147458 alongside Dall’s Sheep and Wolverine). On Revontouli they would only be found on the southern coast.

#

Now for the Vurhonga 3, and I only chose 3 species to keep the reserve from getting overloaded

Greater Kudu
Class: 6 or 8
A highly prized game animal sometimes known as the Grey Ghost, they would live in the more wooded areas of Vurhonga to avoid both lions and humans.

Nile Crocodile
Class: 7
A predator that kills more people then lion and leopard every year, the Nile Crocodile lurks in the larger water bodies and the large river that surrounds Vurhonga. They are braver then Alligators and weather that is good or bad news depends on you

Chacma Baboon
Class 3
The ultimate pest animal in Africa, these intelligent monkeys are often seem roaming about the reserve in large troops that consume everything from fruits and nuts to small animals. The Male baboon is one of the more aggressive animals and even 2-3 males can tear a leopard to shreds.

I love all of these ideas. One more that I'd like to see on Vurhonga is the Impala, as another Class 4 antelope species. That being said, I think you made the right choice by sticking to only three big game species for Vurhonga.

#

Or maybe the Nyala instead of the Impala, since they might want to save the Impala for Africa 2.0

I’m not sure tahr are possible. They attempted them for te awaroa initially but the long fur didn’t work well with the game engine used. Though I’d love to see them added

I really want Dall's Sheep

tender plume
#

Now that I think about it, Dall's Sheep could be added to Parque Fernando without problems xD

#

When Parque Fernando was announced I really expected them to put up Patagonian Rams or 4-horned Jacob Sheep, they are 2 species so well adapted to the Patagonian highlands that they seem native xD

The suggestions are great!

I do have a pair of species I will be adding to the list for Emerald Coast: Scrub Bull and Common Wallaroo

Scrub Bull would be a class 9 bovine found in the southern half of Emerald Coast, but mostly in the Drybone Plateau region

Common Wallaroo would be a Class 4 animal that is can be found in the eastern half of Emerald Coast (though they would also be found along the rivers and the Drybone Plateau)

Even tough i kinda want this, i dont know if it would work good on revontuli. Seals (from what i know) arent on coasts, and on islands and/or on ice during winter. Revontuli has a few islands, but none currently reachable by players.

#1129861920590147805 Here is a reserve which would be a mix of Revon, Hirschfelden, and Cuatro Colinas. It takes up a bit of space for a dedicated Archipelago, and the goal is to explore it via Boats.

Also made an Öland one, but honestly dont really like that idea alot anymore-

Now that i think about it it is technically Coastal? A part of the frozen 'sea' in the north goes to the sea pretty soon, you can see the coast/sea from here

I Think That Having Brumbies And Feral Camels On Emerald Coast Is A Necessity. They’re Both Incredibly Invasive Species That Need Hunting.

While I do agree, feral dromedary camels are not that widespread in Queensland from what I understand (though neither are Hog Deer yet the in-game explination is that they are moving in) plus the Camels are more restricted to the interior desert areas. Now brumbies on the other hand could work as they live across a good stretch of Australia and live in a variety of habitats. The main issue would be people who don't want to shoot feral horses in video games (I personally don't see the issue since feral horses can be shot in the Land Down Under)

I will be updating this when Sundarpatan releases and I have had a chance to explore the reserve

Well done on this list @sweet breach . Two things I would change would be for ranchero I would have done coues deer, and for Emerald coast I would have done camels. But all in all, a very good list

While I am happy with Sundarpatans species roster, I feel it could of had at least a couple more species big and small, these are 2 of the 3 big game species I wish made it in (The other species is the Hog Deer)

Himalayan Black Bear

  • Sundarpatan: Pahad and Himal
  • Class 7
  • A short tempered bear species, they could serve as the dangerous carnivore of Himal and the parts of Pahad that have no tigers. They may be similar in size to an American Black Bear but are more aggressive and its believed that this is due to being considered prey by the Bengal Tiger

Himalayan Serow

  • Sundarpatan: Pahad and the more forested areas of Himal (They would replace the Tahr in Pahad)
  • Class 4
  • A relative of the American Mountain Goat, these mountain dwelling herbivores prefer to inhabit hilly forest. When cornered they can use their sharp horns to deadly effect but if given the opportunity they would rather get somewhere their predators cannot reach.

if it was necessary to add a species for Vurhonga Savanna. It would have been interesting to have the black wildebeest, because there are only 2 species, from what I could see only in part of South Africa, and other portions of southern countries. And if I remember correctly, it's bigger and heavier. But then the ones you put are very interesting too

median crane
#

yes I know I saw it, and I found it all very interesting. But I find it quite a shame that we don't have the black wildebeest. They can't put it anyway because to add a creature you have to be in a new Map

Hey, Yukon could use black bear and blacktail deer in the Goldcap Bluff area it's a beautiful place but barely any spawns there. Yes, I know blacktail are not native their, but we now have tigers and snow leopards so why not?

Bumping this up

#

And since I am bumping this I thought I would include a few more species as Rare Animals in a manner similar to the tigers and snow leopards of Sundarpatan

Staring with the Forest Reindeer of Finland for Revontouli Coast as a Class 6 species
It would exist as a few small herds and a couple lone bulls in the forested areas, in real life only a handful of tags are given for forest reindeer

Next is the Tibetan Argali for Sundarpatan, like the Snow Leopard that hunts them, these mighty sheep will be rare, but in their case its because they only have a small population in Nepal with most of them living on the Tibetan Plateau. In terms of gameplay it would be a couple small herds and a few lone rams
It would be a Class 6 sheep

And the final is the Iberian Lynx
They would be a Class 2 species due to their small size
And for their rarity they have a small population though it is growing, for gameplay purposes they could have a similar population to tigers on Sundarpatan but across the entire reserve
