Welcome to the Amazon Rainforest. this map would be a large rainforest map with many rivers and a few ponds and lakes. The foliage would be quite dense too, and would be quite a challenge for many hunters. Below is the possible species list for this map

  1. White-Faced Whistling Duck (Dendrocygna viduata) (Class 1)
  2. Fulvous Whistling Duck (Dendrocygna bicolor) (Class 1)
  3. Muscovy Duck (Cairina moschata) (Class 1)
  4. Orinoco Goose (Neochen jubata) (Class 1)
  5. Common Tapeti (Sylvilagus brasiliensis) (Class 1)
  6. Amazonian Brown Brocket Deer (Mazama nemorivaga) (Class 3)
  7. Capybara (Hydrochoerus hydrochaeris) (Class 3)
  8. Collared Peccary/Javelina (Dicotyles tajacu) (Class 4)
  9. Feral Pig/Wild Hog (Sus scrofa) (Class 4)
  10. Puma (Puma concolor) (Class 5)
  11. Spectacled Caiman (Caiman crocodilus) (Class 6)
  12. Black Caiman (Melanosuchus niger) (Class 7)

White-Faced Whistling Ducks could be backfilled to Vurhonga, Fulvous Whistling Ducks could be backfilled to Vurhonga, and Muscovy Ducks could possibly be backfilled to Mississippi (feral populations)

this is my take on an amazon rainforest map

#

also edited it to where jaguars on rancho isn't included

It is illegal to hunt Jaguars in all countries.
Sport hunting is prohibited in all areas encompassed by the Amazon jungle, only subsistence hunting is allowed for natives outside protected reserves.

i'll remove it from the list then

bit unfortunate since this is just a game, but it also makes sense due to the fact that COTW is trying to be realistic

Maybe you could include the Puma instead of the Jaguar? Pumas are pretty widespread in South America.

Pumas don't live in the amazon rainforest from what i know of

tawdry scaffold
#

Are you sure?

simple fox
#

im pretty sure they don't. they only seem to live in the Andes Mountains and Patagonia

tawdry scaffold
#

This range map would seem to suggest otherwise

simple fox
#

oh

tawdry scaffold
#

They're probably not as prevalent in the Amazon because they get outcompeted by Jaguars, but I'm pretty sure they do live there

simple fox

added it to the list

Maybe the justification for having Pumas and not Jaguars would be that the local Jaguar population has been wiped out in this section of the rainforest, allowing the Pumas to prosper

i feel like i should add more animals to the list. i don't know if 11 species would be too little for something like the Amazon

tawdry scaffold
#

are there other species of caiman in the Amazon? Because if there's any more that can be hunted, they could be included

simple fox
#

actually yes

tawdry scaffold
#

well there ya go

simple fox
#

Spectacled Caimans

tawdry scaffold
#

You could maybe have one species of Caiman in one region of the map and the other species in another

#

In which country is this reserve located?

One more species that you could possibly include in this map is the Red Brocket Deer. I'm not sure how often they're hunted, but it could be interesting to have two species of Brocket Deer in the some map.
