A Map in Africa will more than likely the be the last one coming for Call of the Wild but that doesn't have to be the case.

Diamondback Game Ranch (name subject to change)

  • Set in SE Texas Hill Country on a High Fence Game Ranch
  • Single Player Story Summary: Player Inherits a ranch with the intent to restore it to it's former glory along with a New Animal Management Feature Specific to Diamondback Ranch ("introduce" species) to their map.

*Default Species for each map

Class 1

  • Rio Grande Turkey
  • Bobwhite Quail
  • White-tailed Jackrabbit
  • Ground Squirrel

Class 2

  • Coyote
  • Racoon
  • Armadillo

Class 3

  • Bobcat
  • Feral Goat

Class 4

  • Pronghorn
  • Bighorn Sheep
  • Whitetail Deer

Class 6

  • Blue Wildebeest
  • American Alligator (maybe)

Class 8

  • Gemsbok

Class 9

  • Watusi

I do not understand the coding it would take to implement this kind of thing into the game. This is all an Idea that I'd like to share.
Introducing species to your reserve, the idea is to "add" or "introduce" species to specific regions of the map maybe even some to specified to cardinal directions of map e.g. North & West.
Certain Species Class having set prices e.g. Class 4 50,000-75,000 Class 6 75,000-90,000

*Introduce-able Species

Class 2 (15k Credits)

  • Grey Fox

Class 3 (30k)

  • Axis Deer

Class 4 (50-85k)

  • Collard Peccary
  • Feral Pig
  • Fallow Deer
  • Sika Deer
  • Mouflon
  • Barbary Sheep

Class 6 (95-115k)

  • Mule Deer

Class 8 (150-180k)

  • Rocky Mountain Elk
  • Greater Kudu
  • Eland
  • Nilgai
  • Scimitar Oryx

Class 9 (180-200k)

  • Plains Bison
  • Cape Buffalo
  • Water Buffalo

I do understand there are 15 animals already in default but my idea is:
Out of Class 2 and 3 you can only choose one of the introduce-able species
Class 4 and 6 you can only choose 2 E.g. Sika and Addax
And 1 Class 8 species
*Also Can change out species that are Purchasable
Maybe even take out the bighorn from default and give a 3rd option for class 4 & 6

To me this is Very End Game to ask for, Who wants to have to pay that much in-game when you already payed real money for the Dlc? This gives something for the Grinders with Millions of Credits to spend their credits. I also understand that some of the species sound crazy to have in Texas, it surprised me too when I looked it up. This being your own reserve I could see some of the other suggestions in the discord coming with this reserve e.g. the feeders, the 4x4's and some of the other more customizable gear and equipment.

There are no Rossevelt Elk in Texas. Addax are the size of most whitetail so they would be a class 4. Nilgai are the size of cows so the would be either class 6 or 8, (most likely 8) and semicar oryx are the size of gemsbok so the would be class 8

I do notice most the animals are of Mississippi or Rancho but the location only made sense for the idea of a new mechanic "introducing species"
The main focus of the map is customization, everybody's map could be different with how you can "add" animals to different locations.
Texas also gives a chance to hunt more Africa species not on an Africa map.
I Haven't really thought of a gun to go with this reserve, I figured equipment you would get for working on your reserve e.g. New Hunting Blinds smaller and or bigger ones that require more or less land to place.
Feeders that can maybe work by placing them 150-200m from need zones and instead of the animals eating in the bushes they eat around the feeders. Could Cost 10k to buy and 500 to fill (lasts for a day).

Been giving the single player story some thought. With the theme of Inheritance the Narrative could be a bittersweet farewell to the game. We could see '"Cameos" from the past reserve Wardens.
Grandfather Njabulo Tshabangu from Vurhonga could tell us about getting African animals to Texas.
We could see a return from Kiri Taylor from Te Awaroa talking to us about the how the animals adapt to the new land.
Neighborly calls from Allan Bradley, Immi Davis & Salvador Soto Muñoz from Silver Ridge, Mississippi Acres and Rancho del Arroyo.
Carolina Vargas from Parque Fernando could talk about the struggles of losing someone close.
**I don't know if the voice actors would be available but it would be nostalgic as a last map

Swapping Mechanics

  • New tab in Single Player Menu for "Ranch Management" (Only When on Diamondback Ranch)
  • New Menu with Region Tabs with the Region Names
  • Swapping animals will work with Region Specific Species.
  • To Swap Species at least 2 species must be available in the Region Tab
    -One of the Species MUST BE on the map (kinda obvious but needs to be stated)
  • Must Have 5 Saved Harvests of the Species on your map to Complete
    [This gives more Use for Saved Harvest, and keeps from Instantly Swapping (Swapping smaller species like fox will more of a challenge)]
  • Maybe After a species is available AND you've Swapped a Specific species once you don't have to pay again (Could be 5k Every time)

Requirements for Animals to Show up in your Regions Tab:

  • Spot 20 different animals of a species in a Region (To add the species on your map)

  • Main Missions/Side Missions

  • Collectibles (Collect all of one collectible and 1 or 2 species from the collectible's "Origin" Theme [African Theme Collectible])

  • Unlocked Species will NOT be Region Specific (Unlocked for Ea Region w/the ability to)

  • Few species will be available from start, some from the species not on the map and some that come with the map

  • 1 or 2 Species could be Random but they Can't be tied to Missions

  • You CANNOT swap a species you haven't made available in the Region Tab

  • Drink Zones must not overlap more than 1 hr (to prevent too many animals at drink times)

  • Some Could be payed for to have available

  • "Ability" for a Region to have a Species in a Region: Not all Regions will hold ability for a Class 9

  • The Map would NEED a saved memory for EVERY Species on or off the map So swapping can't abused with New Spawns Every Swap

  • So NO NEW SPAWNS EVERY SWAP

To me this is Would have to be a BIG Update considering all the mechanics, species and just how all this would need to work "cleanly".
But my idea with this is, What would be the "END ALL DLC" ?

  • A "Customizable" map (in terms of the ability for No one map will be the same)
