Sorry you said hunting tigers in the savannah? If you're referring to Vurhonga, there's no tigers that live in Africa
First off, your wrong about cougars being endangered. Secondly: Lions can be hunted in 7 countries.
Why tho?
Dang you beat me to it
š
Mabye as part of a story you get attacked and have to kill one, like that old Cabela's hunting game. But not a very realistic animal to grind š
That actually very nice idea
Why are you rolling your eyes at me lmao
I still don't understand why COTW Owners/Devs doesn't want to add endangered animals
Why not? Why are you laughing?
Because you're apparently mad at me for saying tigers don't live in Africa, a well known fact
Im not mad
Chill bro all just ideas, that's it
Because it is mostly hunter simulator, there is no one who hunts tigers or endangered animals in reality except for poachers.
I am chill tho?
I would only be okay with Tigers in a Hunting Game if it was set in the time period where Tiger Hunting was legal which would the pre-1970s and I would even go so far as to set said game in between the 1940s & the 1950s (Tiger Hunting and hunting in general was banned in India in the early 70s)
This ā«
Ya I wonder how they could do that
Well having time period appropriate weapons would be the start
Suggests hunting one of the most endangered animals in the world
says they should be in a place where they donāt even live
gets surprised when people donāt like his suggestion
Because they donāt want to promote hunting endangered animals or hunting illegally (poaching). Itās that simple
Whenever people get told that they seem to immediately point to European Bison or Lion (and in the case of this post: Cougar)
European bison were cleverly set up in a way that is not only believable but also ethical; they were initially protected in the reserve and werenāt able to be hunted, which meant their population got out of control and now they let people hunt them to get their numbers down
Lions were only added post-launch to Vurhonga because it got review bombed for not having them initially
If you mean Cabela's Dangerous Hunts 2, then the only weapon you had was a tranq rifle. you also tranq'd Indian rhinos but that doesn't make them trophy animals
Well as I seem to mention a lot, Lion are legal to hunt in several countries
Leopards would be a really cool addition to Vurhonga and future African maps tho
Plus, lions are currently in vulnerable status and European bison are near threatened with their numbers rising exponentially due to conservation efforts. Which makes both species above the vulnerable threshold that EW wants to stay above + both are legal to hunt
Yeah, all the Cabelas games that had tigers also forced us to use tranq guns on them, though the 2009 Dangerous Hunts allowed us to gun down striped hyena and guar with a regular gun
ngl, it was fun to track tigers, pop them, and then have to run before they killed you lol
Personally Iāll never be on board with hunting elephants, rhinos, giraffes or tigers. I donāt understand why people want to hunt animals that have less than 1000 individuals left in the wild
Supposedly that is why chimpanzees are not usually tranquilized when they go crazy
The South African Giraffe and the Angolan Giraffe (the 2 that are hunted) have the highest populations with an estimated 13,000 for the Angolan and over 30,000 for the South African
Iirc the only reason their numbers are that high is because theyāve gotten some of the most intense conservation efforts in the world
Giraffe are only vulnerable so we could hunt them (don't have any idea why thou, I just don't see it as a food source) and elephants are legal to hunt in several places, but i literally have a suggestion about how stupid it is to think that elephants are the only reason for a second African map
The people that say that they wonāt play on a second Africa map if it doesnāt have elephants make me laugh. Trust me, Iāve seen plenty in this server alone
Besides, I personally donāt find elephants and giraffes nearly as impressive or interesting as the species we already have in-game. They just happen to be really big, we already have plenty of large animals to hunt
Right? I would take any map in Africa (as long as they keep the fucking ducks quiet, because holy shit i'm tired to hearing them on Vurhonga)
What is this suggestion
I dont know Shawty!! Itās the standard āhey I want hunt endangered animal because lion exist in game and is endangeredā
My main want for Africa 2.0 is to make sure that whichever country they base it on has the correct animal species, I donāt wanna see another āEurasian Wigeon on the same map as Springbokā again
Yeah who hunting tigers man lmao
My solution to that is to have a hunting game set inbetween 1945 and 1970
A hunting game set in the mid-late 1900s would be fucking sick
We need black bellied whistling duck ok vurhonga not the stupid wigeon, also Intresting I like that idea
I want an African map with Hippos, hyenas, leopards, sable, eland, impala, and some smaller animals from the tiny ten
I initially really wanted scimitar oryx on another Africa map but then I found out it was extinct in the wild
I wish we had addax but they are way 2 endangered
The only place where Scimitar-horned Oryx and Addax could work in COTW is Texas
Texan game ranches are raising and releasing them in the wild, if we could get a map with a tranq rifle it could be fun
Not that it matters but OP went and upvoted their own postš
I live in Texas, bro itās the perrrfect NA map, stop picking places like New England and pick Texas we could have the highest animal variety in Texas than in any other map.
Well the highest upvoted North American reserve is my Canadian Arctic Reserve
Iām working on a Texas Game Ranch reserve suggestion right now actually. Just gotta finish up the map layout
Iāll make a Texas suggestion? Awesome by the way im gonna make one still, Iāll be happy to check yours out, I live down in Houston and I get the lay of the land everywhere, I also hunt irl so I know whatās coolest for a Texas reserve.
I gotta ask, you guys know much about Africa's Tiny Ten? They astound me considering the sheer amount of massive predatory animals in Africa and yet they'd all be easily taken with a .22lr (and it would be a faster, kinder death than anything else they'd get) I mean, an adult blue duiker male just weighs like 8 pounds
You could do a lot with Texas, the closest thing Iāve made to a Texas Reserve is a reserve set in the Chihuahuan Desert
