#"Dangerous animals" actually dangerous to the player

I expected to die in Medved due to bear attacks.

The first brown bear I saw was one that took me for surprise when I was prone stalking to a moose. When I got close, in front of me a bear showed up and stood up. At night and me aiming with a bow. I was so surprised, so much tension those seconds, scared because it would attack in any moment...!
But it just ran away.

In my 300+ hours played, I've been only attacked once by a bear (a black one in Layton), it did hit me once and ran away. Female meese are much more dangerous...
Wolves are nice but in my experience they are not aggressive enough and just ask to be killed when they dare to hunt you. One night I was in Cuatro Colinas and I was able to hunt an entire pack of Iberian wolves due to them being scared at the first shot and became bugged running doing loops. I used only the Hudzik luna.

Lions are only dangerous if you get close to them. I expected them to hide and stalk you if they saw you even for a moment, but they just run away like a little cat 😢

I think the game would become more immersive if the player would feel actually threatened when they know animals like bears are close.

Nowadays what I fear the most are Western Capercaillies.

Yeah something that needs fixed is the fact that a deer that got too close to you and spooked can kill you if it runs into you. Of course bears are not 100% dangerous but maybe 20% chance for brown bear and grizzly and 10% for black bear to keep it interesting. Buffalo should be around a 10% for one out of a herd or a lone one to charge. Lions maybe 15-20% they are likely to charge irl. Something else I think needs fixed is that if animal goes aggressive the requirement to not hit the skull should not matter bc I hate it when a nice buff charges and I shoot straight between the eyes and lose a gold or diamond because of it.

To add to what I said about Iberian wolves:

This was in Medved, but the same happens to both Grey and Iberian pack of wolves:

In real life these animals are not as aggressive as you think and normally they do not attack people since they do not see them as casual prey, they only do it to defend their territory, mostly they do not have the desire to kill, only to scare away...
Bears are aggressive and only kill when they have cubs, a situation that does not occur in the game since we are supposed to hunt in an authorized season far from the breeding season of the species

In real life I'm pretty sure we would need an entire set of diapers if we were alone in the wild in front of a grizzly bear. Also I wouldn't be sprinting everywhere like Sonic the Hedgehog looking for need zones. Anyways the point I want to make with this suggestion is that once I learnt about the passivity of many animals, I lost the sense of respect to certain animals and part of the overall immersion from the game.

Grizzly bears should be aggressive during and around their feed zones as they have been known to chase people away from their caribou kill. This would also give you a reason to bring a pistol

I think that bears need an increase to how often they go aggressive. Everything else is fine imo, except maybe lions. Also capercaillies should be able to one shot you 🗿

Thank you for this suggestion.

Grizzly killed me because i came close. Injured brown bear killed me because I chase it. Cotw? No. It's the hunter classic. Cotw is an arcade game. We will never see these stuff in this game.
