IK IK this might sound bad but hear me out. There are ducks that are Hybirds with other species which some look very beautiful! I think if people grinded like duck hunted and hunted for the 2 species that could be a hybrid if the shot both species a hybird would apear and instead of it saying the species like “Mallard” or “Pintail” it would say “Mallard-Pintail” or “Hybird” or “Mallard-Pintail Hybird”, and it would still say 10 Fabeld as the rating. They could also apear on either map. Example, Green Winged teal- Mallard hybird could apear at either Leyton Lakes, Te arrowa, Reventoi Coast, or Mississippi acres because they all have either the Mallard or the Teal.
This is Much like Classic only these hybirds are a lot rarer and more special.

Again, these are just some of the hybirds that cotw could easily make. There are many hybirds that are due able and I think it would be neat to see a variety of hybirds harvested by the community.

Yes, but is a plumage variation, like for Mallard- black duck it would still say mallard or black duck but the plumage would be hybird

True, I wouldn’t mind to see it as a rare, but I think if cotw was going to have a Great One Duck this is the direction they would go.

How would a great one duck be hard to get? You'd just setup a bunch of decoys and get to shooting

I like hunting ducks. While I don't think a waterfowl great one should be the next added, I still think having one eventually would be a very interesting addition to the game

Yea, I personally would like to see a Mule Deer or Fallow Deer GO next, but some where down the line I wouldn’t mind seeing it as a GO. If they didn’t want to make it a GO they could easily make it a rare.

I get the boring argument, some people just don't like hunting them, but that could be said about every go species. And every GO grind has the possibility to be lengthy. Or it could be over in 10 kills. I honestly think it might be quicker than other because you can kill so many ducks in such a short amount of time

They could impliment tagged ducks and geese as a type of Great One for each species. The tags would be rare and would be a fun chase item for each type of waterfowl.
Every duck and goose hunter can appreciate a little "redneck bling"

I disliked because of 3 reasons,1.It really doesn’t make sense to have these hybrids ingame when the other half of the hybrids aren’t ingame 2.these could very easily be rare variants 3. It would be mostly waiting after shooting a duck or two,Imo would probably make it very boring similar to the bear grind.

I Would like to see Waterfowl GOs added BUT there are some things to point out with the "mechanics" suggested here on obtaining one.

  • "hunt for the 2 species that could be a hybrid & shoot both species a hybrid would appear."
    (Hunting 2 different species for 1 GO to spawn from either species / I don't think will take well with Devs & the Community)
  • "Example, Green Winged teal- Mallard hybrid could appear on either Layton, Te Awaroa, Revontuli, or Mississippi because they all have either the Mallard or the Teal."
    (Layton & Te Awaroa Only have Mallards / Mississippi Only has Green Winged Teal)
    (This would Technically Only work on Revontuli & New Englands)
  • I'm with the folks suggesting this to be added as a Plumage Variation instead.
  • Lastly considering EW is adding GOs to Hirsh/Layton species first, More than likely Mallards/Canada Goose will be added before any of the Teals.
  • I will 👍 but only for more potential GOs

I wouldn't mind a go duck that would be very interesting but I feel like these would work better as rare furs than a go plumage type
