#Stuck on a mission objective on Medved

On the mission "The wounded one " on Medved Taiga, I got to the part where you have to harvest the wounded reindeer, but it fled and I can't find it anymore. This happened maybe a couple weeks ago. I tried harvesting any reindeer but that didn't work.

For me it wasn’t a animal you could shoot, it was already downed in some bushes close by to the tracks

I had this issue two days ago actually. I fixed it by dropping a tent, closing and reopening the game. The RD was back and I was able to put it to rest to complete the mission. Found this tip on a random steam post.
