#Bring Back the Immersive Weapon Sounds from Pre-"Te Awaroa" Patch

Hello fellow hunters and devs,

I have a humble request that I believe will significantly enhance our in-game experience. In December 2020, after the "Te Awaroa" patch, the sound of all weapons was altered, and in my opinion, it wasn't a change for the better.
To provide a clear example, I've included a video that compares the old and new weapon sounds side by side: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CLDlcr_7zwk
The original sounds were incredibly immersive and added a sense of realism to the game. The gunshots felt so genuine that it was almost eerie how closely they resembled the real thing. However, the updated sounds seem to lack the powerful "kick" that made the previous version so engaging.
I encourage everyone to watch the video and listen to the difference for yourselves. To the best of my knowledge, the reasoning behind this change was never disclosed, as it didn't appear in the patch notes. It would be fantastic if the developers could consider reverting to the old weapon sounds from before the "Te Awaroa" patch, or at least provide an explanation for the change.

Thank you for taking the time to read my suggestion.

Personally, I think the only gun that sounded better before the change was the 6.5mm. Other than that, I feel like the new sounds for all the other guns were made more “crisp” for lack of a better term. Hell, the caplock sounds even more powerful than before. I wouldn’t mind some revisions to the sounds but I don’t think they are any worse than before, if anything they’re even better
